The Maine Teen Driver Safety Committee, convened in 2009, is comprised of individuals representing public safety, transportation, motor vehicles, health and human services, and public and private organizations. A major component of the Committee’s work was the development of a statewide teen driver safety strategic plan. The Plan and the objectives and activities it contains are intended to be used as a resource in a larger comprehensive community based effort to effectively address teen driver safety issues.
